Dr Richie Pow is an interventional radiologist with appointments at RPA Hospital and Chris O’Brien Lifehouse. He is the current Head of Department in Interventional Radiology at RPA Hospital and is a co-director of advanced IR.
He is interested in the spectrum of conditions treated by interventional radiologists but his practice primarily focuses on hepatobiliary intervention / portal hypertension intervention, vascular malformations as well as orthopaedic and musculoskeletal intervention.
He undertook his training in radiology at RPA Hospital followed by a post-graduate fellowship at Royal North Shore hospital focusing on oncology, hepatobiliary and trauma intervention.
Richie is a fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (FRANZCR), certified by the European Board of Interventional Radiology (EBIR) and a member of the Interventional Radiology Society of Australia (IRSA).
Dr Anthony Trimboli is an Interventional Radiologist with appointments at RPA, Prince of Wales Public and Private hospitals and a co-director of advanced IR.
Anthony has a particular interest in using minimally invasive, image guided treatments to help patients with painful conditions, primarily involving the musculoskeletal system.
Dr Trimboli is currently the IR clinical lead in interventional pain, a member of the multidisciplinary cancer pain meeting and the IR clinical lead for the sarcoma unit at RPA.
He undertook his training in radiology at Prince of Wales Hospital, followed by a post-graduate fellowship in Interventional Radiology at Liverpool Hospital, with a focus on embolotherapy, cryoablation and vertebroplasty.
Anthony is a fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand college of Radiologists, certified by the European Board of Interventional Radiology and is a member of the Interventional Radiology society of Australia (IRSA).
